Quality Thought For Tuesday~

I got a little off track the past couple weeks with everything that has been going on in our family, and totally forgot my Quality Thought for Tuesday posts...please forgive me.  Things are beginning to settle down a bit, and I am looking forward to getting back to some normalcy, so without further ado...here is this Tuesday's Quality Thought...

You can't fake quality any more than you can fake a good meal.

On a side note...we had a little glitch with our daughter's tests yesterday, but in the end all got resolved and the necessary tests are being run.  Please continue to keep her in your prayers as she will be having a colonoscopy on Friday (she is really dreading that part!).

The prep for the colonoscopy isn't a party but the actual procedure is really easy. I woke up and ate In N Out on the way home. Good luck with all the tests and congrats to Kate for winning the gold last weekend.

Thank you so much Lauren for your sweet comment on my blog! And then I come over here and see what you've been dealing with! You and your family are in my prayers. I've had a couple of colonoscopies myself, so if I can answer any questions, let me know!

Praying for your daughter! Please tell her I've been there, so I know how she feels. The test is NOTHING, but the prep is absolutely awful!
Big hugs to you and your family. I will be praying for the best outcome possible!
Please email me ANY time if you need anything.

Love the quote!
and Tell her not to worry about the colonoscopy! My Mom was super worried and the gave her "conscious sedation" and she said it was so fine! Like she'd rather do that again then get her teeth cleaned at the dentist! and my sister had conscious sedation for her wisdom teeth extraction (she was so scared before she went she tried to run away haha) but then she got them done and said she would do it again just for the conscious sedation!! haha
You definitely still in our prayers!!
Lots of Love

Hi! Found you from Courtney's "A Thoughtful Place". Had to comment because "AMEN" I can't stand the whole FB requirement for Pinterest. You might get a kick out of a post I wrote recently, called "Dear Pinterest".

http://sophisticatedsteps.blogspot.com/2012/02/dear-pinterest.html

I haven't posted this part yet, but I recently caved and signed up with Pinterest. My way around it was I temporarily reactivated my OLD Facebook account (I had a 5 month stint on there a whiiiile back - glad to be gone, though). With my FB account activated, I quickly joined Pinterest, then deactivated my FB account again. Worked like a charm. My issue is that I'm tired of the world seemingly revolved around FB (and Twitter). Ugh! Okay...off my soap box now.

On another note, I don't know you at all, but I will be praying for your daughter on Friday!
