The dreaded "C" word and prayers needed~

As many of you may recall, my sweet blog/IG friend Jennifer's (beaufortbelle) daughter, Brooke, was diagnosed last fall with Hodgkins Lymphoma.  Many of you prayed for Brooke as she underwent chemo for the better part of last year.

You may also recall how excited we were to have her visit us here in Atlanta this past July.  We had the opportunity to share our birthdays together, but more importantly Brooke's 6 months remission from Cancer.

It is with a heavy heart that I come to you asking once again to pray for sweet Brooke as cancer has reared its ugly head once again.  A recurrence of HL?  or something different? We will know more after tomorrow's biopsy.

The procedure tomorrow is challenging due to the location on the lymph node in question.  I ask that you would pray for her surgeons, that God would guide their hands.

You can read about the procedure in detail on Brooke's Caring Bridge Site, as well as leave words of encouragement and prayers for her personally.  I know she would appreciate each and every one of them!!

Despite knowing she would once again be facing cancer herself, Brooke was my biggest support and cheerleader both last year when I had my cancer "scare" and again this year as I awaited the results of my 1 year mammogram.  She is one amazing young lady, and our family is privileged to know and love her.
