Exhale~

Again, no pictures...but they are not needed!

First, thank you to each of you who have left comments or emailed concerning our oldest daughter.  Knowing so many people were lifting her up in prayer helped ease our burden greatly.

Her colonoscopy was this morning, and all looked NORMAL! Praise God!!  They did  do a couple biopsies (routine) and we will have those results in about a week.  However, all indications are that they too will be normal.

However, we still did NOT have the results of her 24 hour urine test (the test for carcinoid syndrome/tumors).  Her gastro doctor told us she would call just as soon as she heard something.

We left her office, and headed to I hop, we were told pancakes would be a good first meal.  On the way there, our daugther checked her phone.  I had heard it ring while she was back having the procedure, but "assumed" it was work related so I didn't answer it.  There was a message from her gyn doctor's nurse (they had run the 24 hour test)...the results were in...NORMAL! Praise God X 2!!!

I think you could hear us all EXHALE at that exact moment.

While we are still awaiting her Celiac tests, we are so very grateful for the good reports we did receive.  If all comes back normal we will be referred to an endocrinologist for further testing.  But, right now we are just so very thankful, and grateful.

I couldn't wait to share the news!!!

We serve an awesome God!

Hopefully your daughter's property was not hit...I've called my son in B'ham but have not heard back from him yet, but I don't think the storm hit that far down, more up near Huntsville.

The wind is so strong here right now, I was almost knocked down by it when I took mom to lunch today.

Love the south but could do without the bad weather!

Hi Lauren! Wow, that is just amazing news! I can't imagine how scary a time this must be for you... but with a lot of potential burden lifted today, thank goodness! Praise God : )

I don't know a lot about stomach issues, but have had several friends go through a similar time. Two ended up with Celiac's (you said she was being tested for that) and one has Chron's. Both are totally manageable... and not the c-word! Cancer is so scary. I am so, so glad that is not what is going on!! Keep us posted!

Lots of love!

Oh Lauren, that is the MOST AMAZING news! I have been sending up prayers for days now, and I am so happy to hear that the tests have come back clear!!

What a relief for you and your family! Exhale indeed! Time to celebrate!!!

Keep us posted if anything comes up with the Celiac test. I had a little chuckle thinking about the fact that they sent you off to a pancake meal, (made of glutten) without knowing. Hehe. Hopefully she feels fine after the pancakes, and her Celiac test comes back negative as well!

HUGE hugs!
