Pray for our Teachers~Back to School!

Wow...where did the summer go?  While many of you will not be heading back to school until after Labor Day (when all schools should start IMHO), around these parts a few have already started too early and most in the metro area will start back next week.

Many of you know that our oldest changed career paths a few years ago, and is now a High School Special Education science teacher and head cheerleading coach. She felt if she could make the difference in just one child's life, it would be worth it.  I can proudly say, she made that difference her first year teaching and continues to do so!

Since she and her colleagues reported back today for pre-planning, I thought I would offer up some wonderful prayers I found.  I would ask you all to pray for your child's teacher(s).  Many of them spend more time with your child (especially come high school) than you do.  Most of us can look back on our days in school and fondly recall that one teacher that made all the difference.

This is a favorite of mine, and my daughters.

Please lift up all the Star Polishers in the coming weeks.

Lovely post. I think teachers deserve more credit for all that they do. Things change over the years, however our teachers have a very important role toward our children. Have a great week Lauren.

What wonderful prayers for our teachers. They really can make a difference in the lives of their students. We've been fortunate to have some great ones through the years.

Those are wonderful prayers! People forget what a big job teachers have the large influence they have on the lives of the kids they teach. A teacher can make or break a kids love of learning.
Hope you have a wonderful night. xo Diana

Such beautiful prayers for teachers Lauren. My mom was an educator (teacher) for Special Ed and 3 rd graders for almost 30 years. It is definitely a calling for some and I think we can all agree that it is a very important profession. There are teachers that go above and beyond and as you said, really make a difference and have a lasting impact on our children's lives. Bless them .. sounds like your daughter is one of those special beings.

Enjoy your day Lauren!
