A Special Dish~

I cannot believe that in the three years I have been blogging I haven't posted this before, but here goes...my all time favorite dish...

Chicken Divan.  The very first homemade dish my sweet hubby made for me when we first started dating.

To this day it is one of my all time favorites!  I love Curry!

Chicken Divan

Chicken Breasts (steam/parboil) approx. 3-4
Broccoli (steam)  we have been using the birdseye steam packets
2 cans Cream of Chicken Soup (we prefer Pacific box cream of chicken soup)
1 Cup Mayo
1 TBS. Lemon Juice
1 tsp. curry (YUM)
1 Cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
1 Cup browned bread crumbs (we prefer panko)

Line casserole dish with broccoli. Put chicken on top of broccoli (we shred ours prior to).   Mix everything else but the cheese and bread crumbs.  Spread mixture over top of the chicken and broccoli. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and cheese on top of everything.  Bake 350* for 45 minutes.

Cheesy goodness...

So yummy, and even better day 2!
