Saying Goodbye & Reflections~
While I haven't lost anything, I have chosen not to return to teaching my littles next fall. Today was hard, and tomorrow will be even harder as I say my goodbyes knowing a new group of sweet faces will not be awaiting me come September. But, I know God has a purpose and a plan for my not renewing my commitment.
I stumbled upon this quote on Pinterest today, meant for me? I am sure He thought so.
When one door closes another opens. He has a perfect plan and purpose in mind for each one of us that starts the day we take our first breath here on earth. We only need to listen, and follow His calling...sometimes it is just a gentle nudge, sometimes it feels more like a sledge hammer!
I am excited to see where this next chapter will take me, and look forward to sharing it with all of you.

They're Back! Introducing Beaufort Belle & Brooke Ashlyn~
I am beyond excited y'all. Many of you over the course of the past couple years have prayed for my sweet friend Jennifer's daughter, Brooke. You may recall, Brooke was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in September of 2014. Praise God, she is in remission!
Her sweet momma and I became Besties, praying for each other. You may also recall, I had a cancer "scare" myself in November of that very same year. Brooke also became a dear friend of my girls. We were thrilled that we were able to celebrate her 6 month remission, and her birthday and mine, when she came for a visit this past July. The only thing missing was her sweet momma-she was recovering from back surgery at the time.
It is amazing how God places just the right people in your life at just the right time. If it had not been for blogging and Instagram, I am not sure we would have ever met. But, God had a plan!
Alright, enough about that...the reason I am super excited is they are BOTH back blogging!!
So head on over, and give them some love!

Inexpensive Wall Art~
Our back hallway is quite tight, approximately 4X5, with three, yes THREE doors. One leading to the laundry room to the left, one leading to the garage straight ahead and one for the coat closet on the right. Not an easy space to decorate. And a fun place to play what's behind door number??? when guests are trying to leave.
I did makeover an Ikea Rast dresser a few years back that fit the one wall we do have perfectly. We use it to hold all of our phone chargers, cords, headphones, etc. Mostly things we need to grab before heading out on a trip.
A few months back, I decided to change out the artwork that hung above the dresser. Again, I am limited with space as the light switch is on that wall. Obiviously designed by a man!
We originally had some colorful bird prints hanging in the space. (the rug has been since changed out as well, and I am considering updating the dresser...on the to do list)
I didn't want to spend a ton of money, so I decided to create my own. Easy peasy...a couple of my favorite quotes, Microsoft word, a cute font, and hit print! Pop them in the frames I already had and done.
I love the reminders when walking in and out the door.
I have to share a funny regarding these. My folks were here for Easter dinner. My mom happened to notice the prints, and a few others I have around the house. She asked where I got them. I told her I made them. She asked how? I told her on the computer...Microsoft word, pick a quote, pick a font, and print. She said, you can do that? Change the font? LOL My dad who is a computer genius, said "why yes, as soon as you learn to master your email!" Let's suffice to say, my momma isn't tech savvy. She still prefers her T-9 flip phone! UGH!!!

Meet Me Over at Dixie Delights~It's Sunday Supper Time
Hello sweet readers!
I am super excited today. The sweet blogger behind Dixie Delights, Amanda, has invited me to share one of my recent favorite recipes with her readers for Sunday Supper while she is enjoying Spring Break with her lovely family.
I am sure most of you are already know Amanda, but if not, be sure to head on over and say hello. You will not be disappointed. She has put together an amazing line up of bloggers to guest post this week, and I am humbled to be included among them.
Amanda is the absolute sweetest. True Southern Belle, through and through. I just adore her! She writes so beautifully about raising her handsome Southern gentlemen, her beautiful home, all things Disney and Coca Cola, and her hometown of Savannah. I want to be her when I grow up! LOL
She is a hometown girl, and yet we have yet to meet! I just know we would be fast friends. Hoping to make that happen this summer.
God Bless and have a Beautiful Sunday!!
