Reflections~Back to School Funnies

Believe it or not, I am still alive and well.  Sorry for the "radio silence."  We spent the past few days loading yet another U-Haul, driving said U-Haul to TN, unloading said U-Haul, unpacking, putting together IKEA furniture cue pulling hair out , and getting baby girl all settled to start grad school tomorrow.

We all survived!!!!!

After our oldest's accident, I realized just how precious time spent with loved ones is...so, I will blog when I have time, have something worthwhile to share, love a new recipe and think you will too, but will never make this my full time gig.  Just being honest. I appreciate those of you who do read and take the time to comment.  Despite not ever meeting in person, some of you have become my dearest friends.

I am back with another "late addition" Sunday Reflections...

While some have a week already under their belt, I know some still have some time left before the start of school so I rounded up some more back to school quotes for your reading pleasure.

In no particular order...

Praying everyone has a great start to the new school year!!

  1. I hope your daughter is feeling great! We moved The Girl to Houston and it was bittersweet. Great to see years of study and sweat lead to possibilities and achievements. But sad to miss my only daughter. ): Looking forward to the holidays BIG TIME.

  2. Congrats on coming to the decision that blogging is not your whole world and family comes first! Our oldest just got her masters. So glad the running back and forth to colleges is over - Hubs and I are getting a little too old for moving (but now they're moving to their own apartments! UGG but that's what makes life ;)

  4. Some of these are too funny...especially the one "does it seem like mom is a bit happy......". Taking my summer off to spend with my kids was so gratifying and reearding and stress free. Not once did i feel like i had to get a project out or a post written. Now that they are back i am anxious and excited to put some of my creativity energy back into the blog..... Until next summer. Have fun at parents night.
