Reflections~ Change Is In The Air

How did it get to be May already?  The past few weeks have been a bit of a blur.  A good blur, I might add.  Hubby and I had a wonderful time in Hawaii.  Hope to post pictures of the trip soon. We spent the entire weekend doing yard work.  Pollen and TONS of rain make for a lot of clean up!!

While we were away our oldest made a HUGE decision to leave the school she is currently teaching at, and her students she loves so much, to take on a new position at another school for the upcoming school year.

And, Baby Girl is graduating from Baylor in less than 2 weeks!!

One, maybe both, might be moving home for a bit.

Changes...all good, all exciting, but a bit daunting nonetheless.

We could not be more proud of each of them.  The above quote really does sum it up.  While these chapters in their lives come to a close, so many more doors have been opened and opportunity awaits.

New beginnings...exciting and scary all rolled into one.  But definitely a  BLESSING!!

  1. Even good change is so hard. My baby has ten more days of high school and we have started to look for dorm bedding. Ummm, I am not ready! Posting pics of our trip to Italy as soon as I catch up on the blog too! Congrats to your grad!

  3. Change is scary but usually for the best. Changing schools is a difficult decision, but she will settle in just fine. Good Luck to the Baylor graduate. xo

  5. Melissa will be living at home for at least the summer too. I've learned to appreciate the time she is near as it changes again before you can blink.
