No pics...just a quick update. We have all survived week one. If you are a fan of the new tv series, The Great Escape, we survived phase one without being apprehended by the military guys patrolling the perimeter!
She is settled into college/dorm life, loving her professors (after changing one class) and doing quite well. Mom is keeping super busy, no time to stop, think,
sob, cry, have a mental breakdown, etc. Hubby and I leave for Michigan on Saturday, with our oldest, to celebrate my MIL's 94 birthday on Tuesday. Her famous saying, "anything beats the alternative (meaning 6 feet under)" Gotta love her!!!
Hope all are doing well. Hope to get into a bloggin routine once we return!
Lauren

ReplyDeleteSo glad she is doing great and you are keeping busy! One of my closest friend's son left for Berkeley last week. It's so exciting and sad all in one. Hope you have a fun, safe, trip.
ReplyDeleteThat must be a comforting feeling that your daughter is settling in so well to college life and living away from home. It brings back good memories of college days to me but I was also so homesick at the very beginning. Hope you are doing well Lauren! Best to keep busy! Hope your MIL had a Happy 94th! She sounds like she has a great attitude. My FIL is turning 92 and is very positive as well and still golfs every morning.
