I had planned to share with you some organizational projects and changes in our home today, but yesterday's rainy weather didn't make for a good day for photographs.
So instead, I will share what we made for dinner last night. Once again, Pinterest for the win. This recipe could not be easier, and is perfect for an evening where you only have 20 minutes or so to get dinner on the table.
Korean Style Pork Chops
Ingredients:
4 pork chops (we used boneless center cut)
1 TBS olive oil
1/4 C soy sauce, low sodium (we used gluten free)
2 TBS honey
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp ginger, minced
2 tsp sriracha sauce
black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400* F.
2. In a medium size bowl whisk together the soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil and sriracha sauce.
3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet for medium high heat. Add pork chops, without marinade, and cook for about 5 minutes for the first side, or until it gets a nice brownish color. Flip the pork chops and pour the remaining marinade over them. Cook another 5 minutes on this side.
4. Place the skillet in the oven to finish cooking them. Roast for about 10 minutes, or until pork chops are completely cooked through.
Notes
If your pork chops are not very thick, you may not need to finish them off in the oven. Also, if you prefer a little less heat you can add more honey and use less sriracha.
The original recipe comes from this blog. I can't wait to try some of her other recipes.

Okay, help a gal out, I see it everywhere, but what exactly is sriracha sauce? Is it spicy? I have allergies and not sure I can use it. Do you have a substitute for it? These sound so yummy. So glad you shared this week on my party. You have the best recipes.
