Weekend in Pictures~

I love it when I get to celebrate my birthday beyond the "actual" date.

Friday, hubby took me out to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants along with our girls and our oldest's boyfriend (the "keeper").  We were seated at the "prime" table...meaning it is the table of a very dear friend of ours of many many years, and he dines there regularly, knows the owner, and the wait staff adores him.  Meaning...we got the royal treatment! LOL

Let me just say, the broiled lobster tail and shrimp I had was divine.  Oh, and I may or may not have sampled BOTH desserts he brought to us to help us celebrate...key lime pie and snickers ice cream pie! YUM!!  No calories at all ;)

The girls both went above and beyond as usual hand picking the most beautiful jewelry to present to me for the special occasion.  And yes, they will tell you they "talked"...the pieces matched perfectly.  And, the keeper presented me with the most beautiful bouquet of summer flowers.  (and yes, if you are reading this...I am giving Chris the credit for this one!)

The cool thing is that the necklace and earrings "flip", pearls on one side,  crystals on the other, and the bracelet goes perfectly with either!  They did good don't ya think?

And, tonight hubby is cooking a fabulous rotisserie chicken on our new bbq grill!  Will share pics soon, along with another fabulous chicken recipe.
