While everything is lush and green, we really haven't been able to enjoy it! And lo and behold, they think the tropical storm just might head our way early part of next week. I did not sign up to live in Seattle (no offense my Seattle Sea Worthy Friends).
Well, at least I managed to snag these out of the garden before the rain hit.
Nothing like fresh herbs from the garden. Hubby is making herbed burgers topped with herbed aioli butter, and roasted potatoes and onions with fresh herbs. Yup, herb overload. But, at least I can taste summertime weather!!!
Hope the rest of you are soaking up the sunshine!

I'm so over the rain. We had plans that were cancelled again. At least it's not as hot out.
I think we are finally having a stretch of sunshine. I hope the tropical storm misses you - too much rain is no fun!
Unreal rain here too! I am trying to be positive and think about how good all this rain is for my new trees;)
I'm so jealous of the rain...we sure need some down here in South Texas. :-)
Wow..that's a lot of rain! We've had more than usual but I think it's great for my garden. Your herb garden must be gorgeous! You can never have too many! :)
XO,
Jane
Send some of that rain west!!! We need it!!!!
Rhonda
UGH we are having the same rain! We are extremely fortunate that our baseball games were not rained out on Thursday! Thirty minutes after our last game, it started POURING and we have had storms pretty much the entire weekend. I am ready for some sunshine and pool time!
Your herbs look GREAT! I wish I could have an herb garden...I used to be a great little gardener but lately I kill everything because I forget to water...LOL I guess this is the year I could have done it without having to water on my own!
OH! Tell me about the rain! Here in Minneapolis, Minnesota, we have had almost non-stop rain! And my herbs in their pots look like they are on steroids, but rather, they have been bathed in pure rain and occasional sunshine! We enjoy making stuffed burgers with goat cheese, then topping them with freshly made basil pesto, from the garden! Last night, we ate in our covered patio, listening to the fountain and eating chicken/mushroom and white wine stew with fresh thyme; nothing like herbs!
Thank you so much for coming by to leave a comment! ENJOY THE RAIN! Anita
I hope you have lots of sunny days this Summer.
